What changed in the studio.

The changes you will notice, by day and in plain words. Maintenance behind the scenes is not listed here.

  1. A shape per shoot, and the site

    • The stepper has a Format step: 3:4, 4:5, 2:3, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9. Every photo of the shoot gets that shape, renders and retries included. 4:5 is Premium only.
    • When Premium refuses a picture on content grounds, the alternative mode makes it, and you get the price difference back.
    • Formats are padded in the colours of the picture’s own background, edge by edge, instead of white.
    • A product starts with its front, even when the back was uploaded first.
    • In a full-body picture the model wears the whole outfit, outer layer included.
    • After an upload, the product is described automatically again.
    • Subscription credits arrive every month, yearly plans included. What is left at the end of the month expires; separate top-ups do not.
    • The new site: how it works, pricing, lookbook, journal, FAQ, and pages on Shopify and your AI assistant.

  2. Atelier Noir, scenes and poses

    • The studio in a new look, Atelier Noir, in light and dark.
    • A new scene library, with studio, outdoor and interior as a filter in the stepper.
    • A new pose library, with a pose step where you let the AI choose or choose yourself.
    • A concept you keep is rendered in premium quality; the photo stays the same.
    • A shoot holds on to the face and build of the chosen model.
    • Downloads work again.

  3. New quality modes and models

    • A new main engine for every shoot, with an alternative mode for a different look.
    • Model photos and portraits are made at 2K.
    • Every model shows the face first; the full body is one tap away.
    • “Library” is now “Assets”, with your products first.
    • Curvy and plus-size models come out curvy and plus-size.

  4. Shopify, there and back

    • Pick products straight from your Shopify store in the stepper.
    • Put each picture back on the product it was made from. If that fails, you can try again.
    • Products from your store are filed under a category in your assets and show where they came from.

  5. Recipes

    • Keep a shoot that worked as a recipe and run it over your catalogue. The queue keeps going when you close the tab.
    • The dashboard shows which products still need a shoot, and opens the stepper with them.
    • Download a picture in the sizes a shop publishes in.
    • Finished pictures arrive, even when nobody is watching.

  6. Your shop in the studio

    • Shoot the products that are already in your Shopify store.
    • When publishing, the studio suggests the product the picture was made from.
